Free SMS Bomber Apps To Send Multiple SMS Text Messages All At Once

You probably have tons of files stored on your DropBox account. And admit it: managing these files this big is a daunting task, and it only gets harder when you start dumping more files across your DropBox account over time.

Whether you are an occasional or heavy DropBox user, getting your DropBox files organized isn't exactly something that should stress you out. SortMyBox is a fantastic tool that you should check out if you want to automate the sorting and organization of your Dropbox files.

SortMyBox Lets You Organize, Sort DropBox Files Based On Your Rules

SortMyBox is a free and easy-to-use file management app for DropBox that automatically sorts DropBox files/folder based on the rules you setup. SortMyBox uses the popular "when this, do that" format, similar to Gmails' filters. That is, when certain file name or extension is detected, SortMyBox will then move those files to the folder you want, based on the sorting rules you setup.

Play, Stream All Music Files Saved From Your DropBox Account (No Need To Download)

Getting Started With SortMyBox

SortMyBox is pretty straightforward to use. First you need to point your browser to SortMyBox's website (link). From here you should be able to login and connect through your Dropbox account.

Note: A folder named "SortMyBox" will be automatically created inside your Dropbox account. This will be the folder in which you drop your files for sorting.

Now it’s time for you to create your first rule. There are basically three types of rules, as seen in the screenshot below:

(a) Filter files by extension (or a comma-separated list of extension). You can instruct SortMyBox to automatically move files to specific DropBox folders when a certain file comes with a file extension that matches to that of your rule.

(b) Sort by a word in the name. If you want to automatically move all files containing the word "img" to /Photos/ directory, then, this filter is ideally right for you.

(c) Filter by name pattern. Allows you to create a pattern in the name to filter by, with or without an extension (e.g. "The Carpenters *.mp3").

To wrap it up, you can setup rules that identify a file’s extension, name contents or a name pattern. And files get sorted every 15 minutes. Yes, it's that sweet. So go, check it out HERE.

As someone on Quora once said, “Quora is a giant campfire where random people come along, sit down, and tell their stories”.

Quora, without a doubt, is one great platform where Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook, James Wales of Wikipedia and countless others including world-renowned NASA scientists, astronauts and engineers converge and embark into a stimulating and immersive discussion of just about anything.

So it's normally safe to assume that Quora hosts a plethora of smart & insightful discussions, answers and thoughts from qualified & experienced people with different professional background which are sure a delight to read.

Curiosity.com: Get Answers To Life Biggest Questions From World's Brightest Minds

And if you're like me who doesn't have the luxury of time to immerse and browse through Quora during the day, you probably have wished to just feed those interesting reads to your favourite news reader app like Pocket so you can read them later offline.

The thing is: Quora hasn't have this feature yet nor Pocket has integration support for our beloved Quora.

But fret not, there is a way out..

Add “Save To Pocket” Button In Quora for Offline Reading

Meet Quora Save To Pocket, a Google Chrome extension that allows you to push contents from Quora to Pocket. With this extension, you can save any answer, question or blog post to your Pocket account straight from your Quora feed. Sweet...

How it works

The add-on works this simply:

You install the Chrome extension. Once added, you connect the app to Pocket via the standard OAUTH authentication protocol, and you're done. Save to Pocket link should now automatically appear on every thread and answer on Quora, as seen below:

Wikipedia Gets Export-To-eBook Feature, Lets You Export Wikipedia Articles Into Instant Free e-Book

Pocket actually has its own vendor-specific browser extension that makes it easier to add links to your Pocket account. The problem with their official browser extensions, when used in Quora pages, is you can't selectively add those specific answers you find interesting. And considering how Quora renders its pages, Pocket's official add-ons meet an incompatibility with Quora as yet.

If you're a regular on YouTube, you should have seen that annoying clutters like advertisements, comments, sponsored and related videos sections on YouTube. While these YouTube elements are supposedly helpful at times, they're actually a kind of distractions for some. Remember that our eyes can only handle one at a time, beyond that drives our concentration away.

Hate The Long Intro On YouTube? Jump To Specific Seconds, Minutes While Playing YouTube Videos

Thankfully, there is such a good browser extension called "Turn Off The Lights" that seeks to give YouTube users the cinematic experience by fading the page background to dark, thus making the YouTube video to stand out.

Give YouTube Videos A Cinematic Look With "Turn Off The Lights"

"Turn Off The Lights" is a free Chrome and Firefox extension that promised to remove unnecessary distractions when watching a YouTube video online. With just a click of a button, the entire web page will be fading out to dark, except for the view port of the YouTube video you're watching. Clicking again the button resets the page back to normal.

YouTubeToMP3.com Lets You Download Audio MP3s Directly From YouTube Video

Getting started is a snap. Just download and install Turn Off The Lights for Google Chrome HERE or install the Firefox version HERE. Once installed, a lamp icon should be visible next to your address bar. As seen below:

Now, while on YouTube, clicking on it will increase page's opacity, thus allowing you to focus only to the video you're watching.

Download Specific Parts, Portions Of Any YouTube Video

Users also have the option to change the black opacity to 100% or less — useful when you want the page to appear almost black. Just right click on the lamp icon, and click "option". If you want to automatically turn the lights off when playing a video, you can do that as well. Just enable the option "autoplay" in my option page.

Google is rolling out yet another free web service that lets you stream your favorite music just the way you want it.

Google Music gets you "much closer" to your favorite tracks by allowing you to upload and listen your personal music in the cloud, and keep your music collection in sync whenever, wherever. With Google Music, you can forget the hassle of cables and files.

Why does Google is bringing such online music portal is a question I even asked. Considering that there have been long-standing "cool" music providers out there, Google should bring something unique in this music service in order to stand among the crowd. Thankfully, Google Music comes with really unique and enticing capabilities, which would make it really cool and exciting music experience.

Here's top 4 reasons why you would ever love this music service of Google, and why Google Music is a better way to play your music:

Listen Anywhere, Even Offline.

You can access to your personal music collection at home or on the go. Listen from the web or any web-enabled device with the Music app available from Android Market. Not online? No problem. The songs you've recently played will automatically be available offline. You can also select the specific albums, artists and playlists yo want to have available when you're not connected.

Your Music Collection, Now In One Place.

Upload your personal music collection to a single library, even if it's scattered across multiple computers. You can upload music files from any folder or add your iTunesR library and all of your playlists. And when
you add new music to your computer, it can be automatically added to your music collection online.

Stay In Sync, Without The Hassle.

Spend more time listening to your music and less time managing it. Once your music is online, it's always available. Playlists are automatically kept in sync, and you don't have to worry about cables, file transfers,
or running out of storage space.

Mix It Up.

Create your own custom playlists with just a few clicks. Or use Instant Mix to
automatically build new playlists of songs from your collection that go great together. All the playlists you create and all the changes you make to them are automatically available everywhere your music is.

Auto-forwarding of mail to another email account is cool. But what must be cooler is to know that we can automatically forward all inbound mails straight to our phone.

This FREE of charge auto-forwarding of mail to SMS procedure that I'm about to share works well with Globe, TM, and Sun Cellular subscribers. This trick should also work with mail providers that support forwarding just like Gmail (I don't know with Yahoo if they have this feature for free).

Ok, let me explain this: Auto-forwarding of incoming mails to our phone is made possible by 'exploiting' the FastMail service of Globe. FastMail is a whole new facility of Globe that allows you to send and receive emails using your mobile phone. Simply put, you can send SMS via email using FastMail with this format <639xxxxxxxxx>@fast.ph. With that said, I came up with a conclusion that I could actually receive my emails straight to my mobile phone for FREE.

Here's the procedure:

All we need to do is to perform a little configuration in our Gmail account:

1. Click "Settings" at the top of any Gmail page, and open the "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" tab.

2. From the first drop-down menu in the
Forwarding section, select "Add new email address".

3. Enter [email protected] (Exapmle: [email protected])

4. For security reasons, Google will send a verification code to your number shortly.

5. Open your forwarding email account, and find the confirmation message from the Gmail team.

6. Click the verification link in that email.

7. Back in your Gmail account, select the "Forward a copy of incoming mail to..." option and select your forwarding
address you've created from the drop-down menu.

8. Select the action you'd like your messages to take from the drop-down menu. You can choose to keep Gmail's copy of the message in your inbox, or you can send it automatically to All Mail or Trash.

9. Click Save Changes.

You also can set up filters to forward messages that meet specific criteria. You can create 20 filters that forward to other addresses. You can maximize your filtered forwarding by combining filters that send to the same address

Now, let's do some test by sending an email to your Gmail using other email account like Yahoo, Hotmail...etc.

FastMail should be able to deliver your email straight to your phone! That's it!

(Note: You can only view the first 55 characters of each email received. But at least, you get informed about inbound mails from time to time be it a about Facebook notifications or any.)

Receive Emails as SMS for FREE (No GPRS Needed)

We always love to talk about something cool and awesome in the web. And one of those top-notch web services I just discovered that truly deserves a mention on this blog is: Loudlee.

Loudlee (link) is a brand new music service created by Guy Elharar and Yaron Revah. This Israel-based website harnesses the power of YouTube that gives users a whole new option to discover and listen to their favorite music online. Loudlee is like Pinterest, but for music.

How does Loudlee work?

Loudlee comes with intuitively neat interface, making it easy to use. All you need is a Facebook account, and do a one-time registration using that account. After linking your Facebook account, Loudlee should bring a page which features most recent artists/albums other Loudlee users are tuning to. Here you can hover/navigate through the albums being featured and hit "Play" or "Add".

New Android App Lets You Sniff Internet Session, Hack Facebook Account

Clicking on "Play" button should bring a nifty music player that sits at the right side of the screen, which displays the video of the current song. You may also "Add" tracks to your current playlist from other albums, making your online music experience truly more personal.

Create A Visually Engaging, Rich Media Presentation With Prezi

You can also dive right in and search for songs, artists or album of your choice. You may also listen to an entire album at a time, play specific songs, or even any given artist’s most popular songs. Music will continue to play in the background as you navigate through other websites.

Find Who Deleted, Removed You As Friend On Facebook

The only downside for Loudlee I think is that you cannot save your playlist, but I believe this is an upcoming feature.

Software programmers are unique organisms; they spend the whole of their lives scrambling letters and numbers just to make your computers and PDAs work. No wonder, they earned the reputation of being the most stressed professionals in the world; extremely busy, no time for themselves - to the point that they forget to notice that Christmas is here! So if you have a programmer friend and you wish to remind him the season of giving, you may want to wrap him a present with the following great Christmas gift items for software programmers:
funny computer programmer picture

1 – Tumbler

Your programmer friend, being the only organism that can turn coffee beans into codes, definitely needs a tumbler. A programmer cannot talk to a computer without caffeine, so a coffee in his side (with your tumbler) must be an indispensable gizmo to keep him up and wide awake round the clock. Tumblers will not cost you a leg and you can even customize it making your Christmas present unique and more personal.

2 – Coffee Maker

Just in case you’ve got a bunch of cash, a coffee maker is another great Christmas gift for your programmer friend. Let your friend experience the flavour of Italy by giving him the opportunity to make his own espresso coffee right at the comfort of his home. Just because it’s a coffee-making device doesn’t mean it is expensive. You can get a manual coffee maker for about $20.00 and it’s going to be a perfect gift for your computer programmer friend this Christmas. Go to the nearest department store and look for a coffee maker that fits your budget. Your programmer friend would even be glad if you could hand him premium or well-graded coffee beans.

3 - Satirical Tee-Shirt

There are a handful of humorous t-shirts out there that describe how cool it is to be a geek. If you have a nerd computer programmer friend, help him tell the world his mind by giving him a t-shirt with cool caption that, for instance, says “No, I will not help with your computer”. There are many other geek-inspired t-shirts out there that say “HTML: How To Make Love” or “You are the CSS of my HTML”. Your programmer friend would be so happy if you could present him techie shirts this Christmas.

4 - Night Out/Parties

Your computer programmer friend generally spends a lot of time in front of the monitor working, with no one to talk and argue with. So, one brilliant idea is to get him out of his lab and bring him to the crowd of people. Pubs or coffee shops might be a good idea but a simple conversation with other guys with buckets of beers will do. Surely, this would be a great Christmas gift for your programmer friend that should remind him that he’s still a human who deserves beers (and chicks)!

5 – Books/Book Gift Card

Your friend might like to get some reference books (like I do) so a computer book would be another great present for your programmer friend this Christmas. There are always new things coming out about designing, scripting, and web programming so a computer programming book should be useful. Just in case you didn’t know what specific book to give that your programmer friend might find helpful, just give him a book gift card.

There are many other great Christmas gift ideas for computer programmers. If you want to complete this list with your Christmas present ideas for programmers, kindly leave a comment below.

5 Great Christmas Gift Ideas For Computer Programmers

Few days ago, I was confronted with this situation where I needed to get a specific file within a zip file shared to me on DropBox. The trouble is, the archive file is over 2GB in size and I am on a limited internet data connection and I can’t afford to waste time downloading the entire 2GB file just to get a specific file for my web project.

Such dilemma would’ve been not a problem if, and only if, DropBox has a built-in file management system where you can zip or unzip files in DropBox website. However, as you might already know, DropBox web app is still deprived of such functionality. And there are no DropBox App Extensions that can do basic archive file management.

So normally your only way out is to download the entire ZIP file on your local drive and do the actual unzipping on your machine, which sounds very much unacceptably antiquated.

Because 2GB of data would cost me $5 in my country to download (and $5 is not cheap), I had to find a way how to unzip DropBox files without downloading them first. Thankfully, I found a way out, albeit not the most straight-forward. And this article, I’m going to show you how.

What you need

  • DropBox account
  • Google Drive account
  • Otixo account (or other free cloud file management apps)

Cutting off the crap, this method works this way: using Otixo service, we remotely copy those zip files from DropBox to Google Drive. And once those zip files are transferred to Google Drive, you can unzip them straight from Google Drive website.

How to unzip Dropbox files without downloading them first offline

For the purpose of this tutorial, I'm going to use a demo file globe-at-home.zip which sits right inside my DropBox account

  1. You’ll have to signup or login first to Otixo and connect your DropBox and Google Drive cloud accounts. Otixo has a decent file management functionality where you can connect multiple cloud drives into a single interface so you can quickly manage your files from multiple sources. We wrote about it before, so go check it out.
  2. Once you’ve added both your DropBox and Google Drive accounts, copy your DropBox ZIP file to your Google Drive. The transfer should take in seconds.

  3. As soon as you hit the Copy button, the ZIP file should arrive on your Google Drive account.

  4. Now, you're ready to unzip the archive inside Google Drive. To do that, you'll have to add ZIP Extractor as add-on to your Google Drive. See our guide here.

Once ZIP Extractor is added, you can open your archive file with ZIP Extractor, as seen below:

  5. And finally, selectively extract the contents within that ZIP file.

You're done!

Best & FREE Alternatives To Otixo To Manage Multiple Cloud Storage Accounts

ZIP Extractor will then automatically create a new folder containing all the extracted files within that folder where the original ZIP file is located.

Final Verdict

Being able to unzip files in DropBox isn't natively supported yet on DropBox web app. However, with a little bit of creativity, we can achieve the same feat by moving that ZIP file from DropBox to Google Drive and do the extraction in the latter. Well, thanks to Otixo.

How To Unzip Archived Files in DropBox without Downloading them Offline

You probably have noticed that while inside Google Drive, one cannot easily extract nor preview zipped files straight from Drive's interface. Google Drive is still deprived of that native functionality and one has to manually download the entire archived file to obtain its contents.

I've been using Google Drive since its initial rollout. Although not my main virtual drive for backups, I use it primarily to store personal documents and some work-related files. And Google Drive being developed by Google gives you tight integrations with other G Apps.

And for occasions when you need to recover a file inside a large compressed ZIP file hosted on Google Drive, you better skip the hassle of manually downloading it yourself and just browse it on-the-fly.

Use Mover.io To Copy, Move Files From FTP To Google Drive, DropBox, SkyDrive and Vice Versa

Here we will show you a smarter way to unzip archived files and browse extracted straight from Google Drive.

Browse Contents Inside Zipped Files On Google Drive

The trick is easy. While you're on your Drive's folder, just right-click any zipped file and click on Connect more apps. Just search for “Zip Extractor”.

Once installed, refresh your Drive's page. You can right-click again the zip file and Google Drive now gives you the option to open it with Zip Extractor.

Zip Extractor will prompt you a one-time authorization request so it can do its thing. After that, you can unzip and browse zipped files with its neat interface. You can also selectively extract specific files inside a zipped file. Just uncheck

Another decent Drive app is Zip, Unzip App. Just like Zip Extractor, it lets you preview and browse zip files straight from Google Drive. What I like about Zip, Unzip App is that it quickly gives you a unique URL for each file found inside your zip file. The UI may need attention though but for a simple task of obtaining a specific file inside a ZIP file on Google Drive? I would go for Zip, Unzip App.

Conclusion

There you go! Google Drive definitely needs a lot of catching up when it comes to dealing with common file types like ZIP files. Being able to preview what's inside a zipped file is already a built-in feature in DropBox, but not in Google Drive.

How To: Browse, Extract Contents Inside Zipped Files in Google Drive

Students and working professionals nowadays are increasingly becoming more dependent to flash drives and other devices of that sort. People can't seem to live without them, along with their phones, iPods, and video players. People carry storage devices such as USB sticks to make sure they've got access to their most important files/documents such as reports, assignment, installers, etc.

But as with many other creatures out there capable of forgetting, we sometimes miss to bring our USB stick. So we often resort to rush back to our home and fetch those files no matter how it would cost. And the trouble doesn't end all there. A simple misuse of flash drives often results to unexpected crash, and that means instant loss of files!

Recover Unsaved Word Documents

DropBoxYou can't allow this to happen, and I'm going to show you how you can avoid this to happen.

The simplest way to protect your data is to put them in the cloud! That way you'll be able to access your files/documents whenever, wherever you are in the world. The process is simple: synchronize your files stored from various sources, computers, devices and leave them in the cloud. There are many ways on how to complete this, and the one that I'm going to show you is thru the use of DropBox.

If you haven't had a chance to try DropBox, this is about your time now to give a shot and be amazed. DropBox is a feature-rich online file storage service, but not the type of free online hosting service you might think it is. DropBox seeks to simplify your work by allowing you to bring all your files/documents together in one place and have them accessible to specific group of people.

Access Remote Files Anywhere Without Using FTP Client

What sets DropBox incredibly apart from others is that any file you save to your Dropbox will automatically save to all your computers, phones and even the Dropbox website. Dropbox also makes it easier to collaborate and share files with others, whether you're a student or professional. And the most amazing part about it is that DropBox can recover and restore back specific file should your classmate or working colleague accidentally modified or deleted the file!

Here are notable features of DropBox that you should truly care:

1. Your files, anywhere
  • Any file you save to Dropbox also instantly saves to your computers, phones, and the Dropbox website.
  • Works even when offline. You always have your files, whether or not you have a connection.
  • Dropbox transfers just the parts of a file that change (not the whole thing).
  • Manually set bandwidth limits -- Dropbox won't hog your connection.
2. Simple sharing
  • Shared folders allow people to work
  • together on the same projects and documents.
  • Invite friends, family or teammates to a folder. It'll be as if you saved the folder to their computers.
  • Create photo galleries viewable by anyone you choose.
  • Send a link to any file in your Dropbox using your Public folder.
3. Dropbox mobile
  • Apps for iPhone, iPad, Android, and BlackBerry keep your Dropbox at hand, even on the go.
  • Bring your files with you when you're on the go.
  • Edit files in your Dropbox from your phone.
  • Easily upload your photos and videos to Dropbox.
4. Your stuff is safe
  • Dropbox protects your files without you needing to think about it.
  • Dropbox keeps a one-month history of your work.
  • Any changes can be undone, and files can be undeleted.
  • Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and AES-256 bit encryption.

Restrict Others To Open Your Flash Drive -- Protect USB Stick With Password

DropBox is very useful that you can even save any online file directly to your DropBox account by simply specifying file URL (no need to manually download the file and upload it to DropBox). Signup for a free DropBox account and get the peace of mind you deserve.

Mobile Browsers were developed with specific goals; some were designed to be cost effective, while some are designed to handle multimedia tasks well.

In the bandwidth savings side, Opera Mini still leads the pack, allowing on-the-go users to save money on internet data. But here's the ugly side: it doesn't handle interactive and dynamic websites very well, not even the Opera Mobile.

Skyfire Browser, on the other hand, is a browser of choice for those who want to enjoy full web experience in their fingertips. Its unique network optimization technology gives you a richer, smarter and more fun mobile web experience. It can stream virtually all types of multimedia content such as audio mp3s and videos (e.g. YouTube) straight from your hand-held device. But here's the big turn-off: it's NOT free, and it's a resource hogger, so expect for lags and frequent crashes.

Why not enjoy the same multimedia content you used to enjoy on Skyfire and save big amount of data at the same time? Well, this is exactly what Maxthon Browser is all about. It's Opera Mini and Skyfire combined into one -- amazingly fast, secure, lightweight & FREE!

We rounded up this seven incredible goodness of Maxthon Browser which we think should put your iPhone and Android web experience to the next level. If you think we've missed to point out other notable features of Maxthon, just buzz off in the comments:

1. Balanced experience

It could be true that Maxthon browser for iPhone, iPad, and Android isn’t an all rounder, but it’s worth mentioning that it has a good balance between bandwidth consumption and multimedia experience. Watching YouTube.com video streams on Maxthon is a very pleasant experience -- it's blazing fast!

2. Full HTML5 Support

Maxthon’s full HTML5 support ensures that you’ll be covered with the goodies of HTML5 websites. You can visit SpeedOf.me, an HTML5 Internet speed test website, and www.html5test.com to see for yourself that this browser really supports HTML5. While it’s true that Chrome scores higher on HTML5 tests, based on experience, Chrome feels heavy on mid range systems while Maxthon is smooth as butter.

3. Gestures

Previously on this blog we have talked about Torrific, a free web-based torrent downloader that allows you to download torrent files using only your Chrome, Firefox or any browser of your choice. Torrific generates a direct link of any valid .torrent link and then present that torrent in a single, manageable zip file. Torrific also is a good alternative if you're looking for ways on how to download torrent file using only your iPhone, Android, Symbian or any mobile handsets.

Download Specific Parts, Portions Of YouTube Videos

Torrific is already awesome, but just as no one is saint to give anything free with no flaws, Torrific also poses limitations and may not always work over time. Thankfully, there's such a good website that works almost similar to Torrific; it lets you download torrent files using only your web browser.

BitLet: Download Torrent Files Using Chrome, Opera, or Firefox Browser [link]

BitLet is a web service that gives torrent downloaders a new option to share, download torrent files online. BitLet can be a good alternative to Torrific as it can download torrent files using only your web browser -- no BitTorrent needed.
BitLet is very easy to use; you just have to enter a valid .torrent URL and allow BitLet to connect to the swarm on behalf of the end user. BitLet will then prompt you for download folder where you want to save the file.

Download, Save Files Straight To Cloud Storage Providers With CloudSave

BitLet is also available as browser extension on Google Chrome. Once installed, Chrome automatically
detects all the links to torrent files within the pages you're browsing and it will make those links open BitLet's download popup, allowing you to start downloading in a few clicks.

BitLet: Lets You Download Torrent Files Using Only Your Browser

Have you ever gotten tired of manually opening/launching your favorite mobile apps during startup? If yes, well, then, you're not alone!

I have few too good applications installed on my phone. Light Control for example is my power-saving app that can smartly shutdown unused keypad lights, thus prolonging the life of my battery. JB Taskman is yet my favorite task manager app that can quickly kill unresponding apps and show hidden operations inside your phone. On top of these apps, I also have Voice Inbox installed -- a smart application that can automatically take phone calls whenever I'm busy or I'm asleep.

Learn How To Lock, Password-Protect Certain Applications  Installed On Your Phone

Those are just some of my favorite apps, and I can't afford to carry my phone without them running. And sure you have your own "favorites" too. Yes?

While it's never necessary to automate the launching of these mobile apps during initial startup, you'll love the convenience if you can just let your phone auto-run those apps for you. Here we are going to explore another breed of applications that can automatically run, open certain applications installed on your phone. These autorun managers are designed so you don't have to manually run a dozen of applications each time your smartphone is being rebooted.

ExeMaster (Symbian) - Automatically Launch Specific Apps During Startup

ExeMaster is a wonderful creation of Verysoft that allows you to automatically open, run certain applications during startup. Simply add all software you wish to be launched automatically, and then switch them on!

Startup Manager - Best Application Startup Manager for Android

Startup Manager for Android gives you the control over what Android applications to start and what not to start. This incredibly useful Android application works almost similar to exeMaster, only that it can do more than just auto-execute certain apps on startup.

Turn Your iPhone, Android, Symbian Phone Into Remote Surveillance Camera With Motion Detection

As with exeMaster, Startup Manager lets you specify third-party apps you wish to be automatically executed once your phone is turning on. Add to that, you can also disable startup apps, and auto-kill those autoruns which could potentially bog down your phone during startup. Get it here. (Please note that Startup Manager for Android has limited handset support).

So you copied something, a photo or a tiny line of codes perhaps, and out of carelessness and itchy happy fingers, you accidentally copied another. And then you realized you need to re-access those previously copied items. And so you begin to wonder: is there a clipboard history, or a temporary folder where all your copied items are saved?

If you’re on Windows and you don’t have any clipboard manager installed, there is not such a way to recover those previous clippings. The notorious Windows’ clipboard only holds one item at a time. New items will permanently delete the previous one.

Add Multiple Tabbing Support To Windows File Explorer With Clover [Must Have]

Not Until the arrival of clipboard managers -- an extremely useful group of applications that can save you from any computer disaster like sudden shutoff, system crashes, etc. And here, I’m going to share you one of my favorite: Ditto.

Recover/Restore Previously Copied (and Cut Items) Back To Your Clipboard With Ditto (link)

Ditto is an open source (and therefore, FREE) extension for a standard Windows clipboard. This cool utility app extension allows you to save each item previously placed in a clipboard, thus, allowing you to access these items later on. Ditto allows you to save any type of information that can be placed in a clipboard, whether it is text, images, HTML, and even custom formats.

Block, Restrict Access To Unwanted Websites - No Additional Software Needed

Simply put, Ditto allows you to save, manage, and retrieve the countless clipboard grabs you make each day. It’s like recording all your cut and paste – copy and paste activities on a separate clipboard.

Some of the good features of Ditto and its Quick Paste Tools:

Whether you are a seasoned coder or a newbie dabbler, you need a code snippets repository.

A code snippets repository is a place where you can keep a file of your own most-used codes so you can check back and copy the needed lines of codes without having to rebuild them from scratch. Code snippets will basically save you time when developing or administering a website as you no longer have to rewrite the codes to achieve the desired results.

For example, here's a tiny code snippet you can add in your .htaccess file to speed up your site:

Responsimulator: The Most Accurate, Reliable Web-Based iPhone, iPad Simulator Online

While there are already long standing, well-reputed code snippets storage sites freely available out there, there's not such an abundance of apps that can beautifully store and organize your code snippets similar to how GistBox works.

In this post, we're going to explore how GistBox can help you in becoming more productive and learn why you cannot stay away from it once you get your hands into it.

So, what is GistBox?

GistBox is another code repository service designed to make code snippet management a little less boring. GistBox uses GitHub's backend but it comes with its own advanced label and search functionality — the features which are missing in GitHub's Gist.

Use Mover.io To Copy, Move Files From FTP To Google Drive, DropBox, SkyDrive and Vice Versa

GistBox was designed to be a curated, personal snippet library – like long term memory for the practicing software engineer.

Here's a few reasons why GistBox is the best:

I like Gist, but it's too limited; it lacks of important functionality like being able to organize your code snippets via tags or labels. So here allow me to point out the notable goodness of GistBox.

Color-Coded Labels. You can create labels as much as you want and assign a color for each label. GistBox Labels works like categories, so for every code snippet you add you can organize it by language, project or purpose.

Advance Search. GistBox's search functionality is surprisingly amazing. If you like how Gmail's search works, then, you'll also love GistBox. With GistBox, you can search through the entire code snippet library or through specific labels.

Collaborate with a group. Another cool feature of GistBox is it's ability for you to create groups and share useful snippets among co-workers — great if you're working with a team.

Split Screen: Splits Your Web Browser into Multiple Resizable Windows

GistBox is lightweight, free and usable. And it's a must-have to all devs!
Still not convinced? Go, check out GistBox and see it for your self.

GistBox: The Best Place to Store, Organize Code Snippets and Pastes

The first part of this article series, we were able to describe the cornerstone of blogging by examining what blogging really is and who can do this wonderful art. During the first part also, we were able to discuss reasons why more and more people are getting hooked in this favorite pastime.

In this second part of our article series, we'll be diving into the hang of blogging, but at this time, we'll be more specific by getting to know the good blogging practices.

Whether you blog for money or just to have an outlet for your thoughts, it's going to be an advantage if you're aware of the good blogging practices, as following:

Blog with integrity. People who're in this business agree that everyone should blog with integrity! Echoing the idea of others in your blog is not a good idea. Have a good tone in your entry and avoid writing words of disappointments and all that kind of bullshits. Backbiting cannot help you as this disattracts every reader.

Get a good topic. Post something in your blog that is unique, content-rich and informative. Keep in mind that people search and surf the net for some piece of information. Post something that's useful and interesting. Post something that others do not know.

Why should everyone visit your blog? This must be something that motivates you when you start typing in your entry. Yes, it's quite hard but this is going to be the best way for you to gain the trust and interest of your audience. Remember that blogging is all about establishing a connection between you and the readers.

Get a good conversation. When you write, do it as if you're talking to someone. Your reader will pay extra attention when you have that conversational tone in your writeups. The I, we, you, your and our should be there.

Participate.Blogging for money is all about gaining the most possible web traffic you can. With that said, you must not do it yourself and alone! Participate! Joining in online community, participating in web discussions or forums, following other blogs, joining blog community and exchanging of comments will do a lot of wonder in your site.

Have a good keywords. As much as possible, make your post crawlable by search bots or is fully optimized for search engines. You must have a good density of your keywords. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is now the most talked-about topic in the internet, and you too should get the hang of it if you want to generate more web hits. A good keyword is something that places your blog in the first ten results when a user searches for it. When you write, take into the shoes of others looking for some interesting topics in the internet. A traffic-generating keywords often contain the phrase "how to" and "tips". But hey, keywords should only account about 15 percent of your blog entry or else search bots like Google will not index it for you.

Regularly update your blog. Don't leave your blog unupdated. You must deliver something new to your readers once to twice a week, if not with every day. Your followers will start to leave your site if they don't get any something new over your portal.

Make use of the web tools. The web tools I'm talking about are the social bookmarking sites and widget that now become an instant hit. The best thing about these web tools is that they help you in generating more web traffics. Twitter, Facebook and the intuitive bookmarking tools will do a lot of work.

Part 2: Everything You Need To Know About Blogging

Not long ago, I was asked by a couple friends about some pieces of advice about blogging; the fundamentals of blogging, the dos and don'ts in blogging, and how they can get the most out of blogging. So friends, if you're among those people who're particularly interested in this art, or if you're new to blogging who wish to have a good start, well, then, stay there as I'll walk you through everything you need to know about blogging.

At the end of this three-part tutorial, you should be able to get acquainted with the most important points in blogging, as stipulated below:
  • What is blogging?
  • Who can blog?
  • Why you need to blog?
  • What you need to know about blogging?
  • Why people fail in blogging?
  • How to make the most out of blogging?
  • What are the dos and donts in blogging?
  • What are the common mistakes in blogging?
  • What are good blogging practices?
  • How to earn from your blog?
  • What is the best way to promote your blog?

These are the questions that we sought to answer at end of this three-part article.

In this first part of our tutorial, I will take you first into the most important points to remember in blogging: what blogging really is, who can blog, why you need to blog, and the least thing you need to know about blogging.

What is Blogging?

In its simplest term, blogging is an art. The first time I encounted the word "blogging", "writing" was immediately the thing that comes in my mind. In many accounts, yes, blogging is definitely about writing - for you've got to tell the world your mind or ideas and "the what's going on"!

Who can blog?

For blogging is close to the idea of writing and writing is an art, you need not to worry if you think you've got no writing prowess to start expressing yourself. As with other arts, you can express yourself in wide variety of means. Photo and video blogs are now gaining more popularity in the blogosphere. So, if you've got a large collection of photographs and videos that you think worth to share, then, post it out in your site!

Everyone can write, you've got to believe that. The very good nature of blogging why people so love doing it is that there's no whole lot many structures to follow or strict guidelines. Unlike other school or literary arts, the hobby of blogging is as simple as telling the world your idea or piece of info in a manner or style you're so comfortable to express with. If blogging and writing literary stuffs will have something in common, I think it's that you need to write in a way that you can be best understood!

Myriad of blogs nowadays are written in english, and the very good reason perhaps this was the trend is that you'll have a wider range of audience as of course the large proportion of people who've an access to internet are english-speaking people. Given this fact, you need not, however, have to write everything in english especially if english is your second language. Some blog entries require you to speak in your native tongue especially if that blog post is directed to specific group of people. Nevertheless, writing in english will always be an advantage especially if expressed in natural and simplest way.

Just in case you hate writing and you don't have a good collection of photographs and other media files to share over the net, then, you can still be in the hobby of blogging. Most blog sites allow you to copy and paste their blog entries as long as you give back the original link of the entry. This process is known as "backlinking"; that is, you are free to repost the work of others as long as you give back the credits to them - the original author.

So, who says you can't blog? As long as you've ideas, opinions, adventures, or experiences to say, pictures or videos you deem worth-sharing, and as long as copy and pasting is your cup of tea, then, there's no reason for you to not being able to blog.

Why you need to blog?

If you see blogging as a form of self-expression, then, you must be living in the idea which is a thing of the past. Blogging is not anymore seen nowadays as a vehicle to share one's thoughts. While it's true that some do blogging for the sake of expression and personal web presence, blogging is now used as a money-making tool.

There's a lot of people who've successfully made it; they're able to generate streams of incomes while they're snoring, partying or on vacation. The sad truth however is that only five percent of the population in the blogosphere successfully made it!

More and more people are now tempted to start blogging with an intention to earn money online. But the large proportion of these people ended up in the turmoil of frustration. This was always the case for bloggers who start blogging for money who ignored the techniques and failed to optimize the web tools to make some bucks.

Every success deserves a dose of difficulties and struggles. Just like blogging for money, expect for some frustrations or breaking points along the way. I should say that it's normal for a beginner to struggle doing it for money. But if you're spending a large amount of time blogging without earning some few bucks in return, I think there's a problem the way you do it!

Blogging for money is good, but the question is: are you really doing it right?
